Stori Brymbo – Ticket Terms and Conditions
1. About Us
Stori Brymbo Ltd (Stori Brymbo) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Brymbo Heritage Trust and carries out the site’s trading activities. It is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales (Company No. 16909994). Any distributable profits are transferred to Brymbo Heritage Trust under a Gift Aid arrangement.
By purchasing tickets or products from Stori Brymbo, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Please also refer to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
2. General Conditions of Sale
· By placing an order, you confirm that:
o You are at least 18 years old; and
o You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract
· All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
· Your booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email. This email acts as your proof of purchase.
· It is your responsibility to ensure that all booking details are correct before completing your purchase.
3. Ticket Purchase and Entry
· Tickets are valid only for the date and time stated and may only be used once.
· Entry is granted only on presentation of a valid e-ticket or authorised ticket.
· Tickets do not guarantee car parking.
· Stori Brymbo reserves the right to:
o Refuse entry
o Remove visitors from the site where necessary for safety, security, or operational reasons.
· All visitors must comply with site rules and staff instructions at all times.
4. E-Tickets and Validity
· E-tickets will be issued by email after purchase.
· Each ticket is valid for one entry only.
· Tickets must not be:
o Duplicated
o Resold without permission
o Tampered with
· Stori Brymbo reserves the right to refuse entry where tickets are suspected to be:
o Fraudulent
o Duplicated
o Altered
5. Memberships
The following terms apply to Stori Brymbo Memberships.
- Memberships are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase (or continue on a rolling basis where applicable) and may only be used by the named member.
- Members may be required to present:
- Proof of membership (digital or physical); and
- Proof of identity
- Membership includes free standard entry to Stori Brymbo during normal opening hours, subject to capacity. Entry is not guaranteed and pre-booking may be required.
- Membership does not include entry to special events or experiences where an additional charge applies, unless otherwise stated.
- Members may be required to book a £0.00 ticket online in advance to facilitate entry. Alternatively, entry may be provided on arrival subject to availability.
- Stori Brymbo operates capacity limits and cannot guarantee entry without pre-booking, particularly during busy periods.
- Membership benefits (including discounts, events, and experiences) are subject to availability and may change from time to time.
- Memberships are non-transferable and may not be shared, exchanged, or resold.
- Membership fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
- Where memberships are purchased on a rolling subscription basis, payments will continue automatically until cancelled. Cancellation will prevent future payments but no refunds will be issued for any unused period.
- There may be occasions when all or part of the site is closed. Members are advised to check the website before visiting.
- Stori Brymbo reserves the right to:
- Refuse entry; or
- Require a member to leave the sitewhere necessary for safety, operational reasons, or where behaviour is deemed inappropriate.
- Misuse of membership, including sharing, fraudulent use, or breach of these Terms and Conditions, may result in membership being withdrawn without refund.
- Memberships are offered as a way of supporting Stori Brymbo and are structured as a donation, with benefits provided in line with HMRC guidance.
6. Annual Passes
· Annual Passes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and are non-transferable.
· Annual Pass holders may be required to present:
o Their Annual Pass
o A valid e-ticket (if pre-booked)
o Proof of identity
· Entry is subject to availability and capacity limits.
· Annual Passes:
o Do not guarantee entry without pre-booking
o Do not include special events unless stated
o Are non-refundable and non-exchangeable
· Certain areas of the site may be closed at times. Please check the website before visiting.
· Annual Pass validity may be suspended during periods of site closure.
7. Children, Carers and Access
· Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
· Children 4 and under enter free.
· Child ticket rate is for 5 – 14 years inclusive.
· Carers accompanying disabled visitors may enter free of charge (subject to eligibility).
· Groups with children must meet minimum supervision ratios (1 adult per 10 children).
8. Group Bookings
· Group rates apply to pre-booked groups of 12 or more people.
· Bookings are confirmed upon:
o Receipt of full payment; and
o Acceptance of group terms
o Full payment is required at least 14 days prior to the visit.
· Amendments:
o Permitted up to 14 days before the visit
o May incur an administration fee thereafter
· Cancellations within 14 days of the visit are non-refundable.
· No refunds will be given for reduced attendance on the day.
9. Learning Visits
· Educational visits must be booked in advance and are subject to separate arrangements. These sessions are not open to the general public.
10. Event Tickets
· Event-specific terms may apply and will be stated at the time of booking.
· Event tickets do not include an Annual Pass unless explicitly stated.
· Tickets for dated events are exempt from statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
11. Gift Tickets
· Gift tickets:
o Are valid for one use only
o Have no cash value
o Cannot be combined with other offers
· Stori Brymbo reserves the right to refuse any ticket that is:
o Damaged
o Altered
o Suspected to be fraudulent
12. Cancellations, Refunds and Changes
· Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law or where Stori Brymbo cancels or materially changes the event.
· Tickets may not be exchanged or transferred unless expressly agreed by Stori Brymbo.
· In the event that Stori Brymbo cancels an event or closes the site, customers will be offered:
o A transfer to an alternative date; or
o A full refund
Refunds, where applicable, will be issued to the original payment method.
13. Site Closure and Force Majeure
· Stori Brymbo reserves the right to close the site, or any part of it, at short notice due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
o Severe weather
o Health and safety concerns
o Government restrictions
o Industrial action
o Technical or operational failures
· In such cases, liability will be limited as set out in these Terms.
· We shall not be liable for failure to perform our obligations where this is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
14. Liability
· Stori Brymbo accepts liability for:
o Death or personal injury caused by its negligence
· Stori Brymbo is not liable for:
o Loss or damage to personal property
o Indirect or consequential losses
· Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under law.
· Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory rights.
15. Behaviour and Safety
· Visitors must behave appropriately at all times.
· Stori Brymbo reserves the right to:
o Refuse entry
o Remove visitors without refund where reasonably necessary due to breach of these Terms or safety concerns.
o Take further action where necessary
· Visitors may be subject to security checks.
· Dogs are permitted on site in accordance with our Dog Access Policy.
· Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on site.
16. Dog Access
· Stori Brymbo aims to be a dog-friendly site and welcomes visitors accompanied by dogs, subject to the following conditions:

- Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times and remain under the control of a responsible adult.
- Maximum of ONE dog per adult visitor.
- Only well-behaved dogs are permitted on site. Dogs must not be aggressive, disruptive, or cause distress to other visitors, staff, wildlife, or property.
- Dogs are not permitted inside buildings, except for well-behaved, quiet dogs in the Machine Shop, at the discretion of staff.
- Dogs are not permitted in or near designated sensitive areas, including the Bee area.
- Owners must clean up after their dogs immediately and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Visitors with dogs are expected to respect:
- The heritage nature of the site
- The surrounding environment and ecology
- The safety and enjoyment of other visitors
- Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of the site.
· Stori Brymbo reserves the right to:
o Refuse entry to visitors with dogs; or
o Require any visitor and their dog to leave the site at any time if a dog is considered to be unsafe, disruptive, or not under proper control.
· Where a visitor is asked to leave due to issues relating to a dog, no refund will be provided.
· Dog owners remain fully responsible for the behaviour of their dog and for any injury, loss, or damage caused.
17. Promotions and Third-Party Tickets
· Additional terms may apply to:
o Promotions
o Discounts
o Third-party ticket purchases
o Offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
18. Communications
· Communication will normally be via email.
· Electronic communications will normally be deemed received within 24 hours of sending.
19. Changes to These Terms
· Stori Brymbo reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
· Continued use of the website or purchase of tickets constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
20. Law and Jurisdiction
· These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
· Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
